Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior EICA Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. Based at a suitable location within the UK, with flexible working options, you will lead technically robust EICA design work for major water treatment projects.

You will develop electrical, instrumentation, control and automation layouts for construction, commissioning and long-term operation, review outputs, coordinate with process, mechanical, civil and digital teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead EICA design tasks and packages to agreed technical standards, budgets and programmes.
• Develop EICA electrical, instrumentation, control and automation layouts for construction, commissioning and long-term operation.
• Review and assure EICA outputs within your area of authority.
• Coordinate EICA designs with process, mechanical, civil, digital and commissioning teams to support smooth project delivery.
• Provide input on control systems, MCCs, ICA equipment, distribution, telemetry and automation for water assets.
• Identify design risks, maintain technical records and contribute to safe, compliant, right-first-time delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices, sharing EICA knowledge.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, discipline leads, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.

• Review and assure EICA technical outputs within your area of authority.
• Coordinate EICA designs with process, mechanical, civil, digital and commissioning teams to support smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical input on control systems, MCCs, ICA equipment, electrical distribution, telemetry, automation and associated water industry assets.
• Identify design risks, maintain clear technical records and contribute to safe, compliant and right-first-time delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices, sharing specialist EICA knowledge across the team.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, discipline leads, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
