To further expand our Engineering team in either Derby or London, we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us. Working on infrastructure and underground structure design, you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in the UK.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Conducting feasibility and options reports
• Completing designs for civil engineering structures, including below ground structures and foundations
• Preparation of work for CAD Technicians
• Site surveys and appraisals of rail, water, and utilities infrastructure schemes
• Checking drawings and supervising Graduate Engineers
• Liaising with clients, attending on-site meetings, progress meetings, and design review meetings
• Project management, including cost and commercial aspects
• Assisting in producing pre-qualification documents, tenders, and fee proposals

Additionally, you’ll have:

• A master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar
• Chartered status in ICE, IStructE, or equivalent
• Experience with below ground structures and foundations is advantageous
• Strong technical skills and enthusiasm for structural engineering
• Knowledge of structures and foundations design
• Experience motivating and supervising project teams
• Familiarity with UK standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferably a full UK driving license
