Job summary

Linsco is seeking a Senior Engineer on a 40-week contract for a major project in Northampton (NN7). The role focuses on on-site management, setting out, surveying and coordinating subcontractors to deliver the scheme to drawings and specifications.

The successful candidate will have prior senior engineering experience on construction sites, main contractor exposure, and a valid CSCS card, with strong communication and organisational skills to support the site management team.

Qualifications

• Previous Senior Engineer experience on construction projects.
• Main contractor experience preferred.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong setting out and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing engineering works on site.

• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating subcontractors and supporting the site management team.
• Maintaining quality assurance and accurate site records.
• Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer on construction projects.
• Main contractor experience preferred.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong setting out experience and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
