Job summary

Smart 4 EPC seeks a Senior Engineer to lead on a major highways infrastructure project in Kent. This contract role focuses on delivering critical civil works, including a new link road and associated structures, with strong emphasis on on-site leadership and safety.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years in civil engineering, a degree in the field, and a proven ability to manage site teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary contractors under pressure.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Engineer to play an integral part in delivering a major highways infrastructure project in Kent, on a contract basis.

The scheme includes a significant new link road together with a substantial viaduct structure spanning a river and an active rail line.

About you

• MEng/BEng/Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering, with a track record of leading site engineering teams
• Strong knowledge and understanding of construction management
• Good communicator
• Able to work under pressure
• Effective use of initiative
