Job summary

McLaren Automotive is expanding its ICE portfolio and recruiting an Engine Design Senior Engineer. You will define, design and technically deliver engine components for a high‑performance vehicle platform, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost, time and attribute compliance.

You will manage design releases, DFMA, and DFMEA, with strong CAE involvement and CATIA V5 proficiency. The role offers hybrid working from our Woking office and opportunities to grow within a

Qualifications

Significant experience in high-performance automotive OEM or motorsport engine design, test and production.
Experience delivering components within APQP framework including FMEA, PPAP and project planning.

Responsibilities

Technical responsibility for all high-performance ICE components and subsystems.
Lead the design and delivery of engine systems with cross-functional collaboration (Product, Finance, Suppliers).
Prepare and present material for project reviews.
