Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior/Principal Energy Technical Consultant to join the Core Energy Advisory team in the United Kingdom. You will apply your engineering expertise to deliver end-to-end energy projects, with a focus on energy management, decarbonisation and net-zero strategies.

You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, manage multidisciplinary inputs, and develop feasibility studies and business cases, while collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive value and ensure

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree required.
• Chartered status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of energy projects.
• Manage inputs from multidisciplinary teams of engineers, environmental and planning specialists.
• Develop feasibility studies, optioneering, business cases and techno-economic analyses.
• Provide technical leadership through design, pre-FEED and owners engineer stages.
• Ensure solutions are safe, economically viable and compliant with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards.
• Travel between offices and client sites as required.
