Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior/Principal Energy Consultant with an engineering background to join our Energy & Power team in the UK. You will lead advisory services on energy management, efficiency, and net-zero strategies, using your technical and commercial insight to deliver value for clients in industrial, commercial and utilities sectors.

You’ll manage multidisciplinary teams, develop feasibility studies and business cases, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients and our sales

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher with relevance to energy or process engineering.
• Safety principles across project development and operation.
• Experience in energy management, decarbonisation or net-zero projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of energy projects.
• Develop energy centres with turbine, CHP, heat pumps, geothermal understandings.
• Provide technical leadership during concept design through to owners engineer.
• Ensure solutions are technically robust, economically viable, and compliant with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
• Develop client relationships and lead progress meetings and proposals.
