Job summary

Osborne Clarke is seeking an experienced energy lawyer to join the Energy Projects team in Bristol or London. You will be a central senior member, focusing on energy market commercial and regulatory advisory, including grid connection and PPAs, while building client relationships and mentoring junior talent.

The role combines high-quality transactional work with regulatory advice in a rapidly evolving energy market, with opportunities to lead negotiations and contribute to business development

Qualifications

• Experience in energy regulation and commercial/transactional work in a leading law firm or in house at an energy company.
• Strong track record advising on energy market areas noted above.
• Excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate complex regulation into pragmatic, commercially focused advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex, commercial advice in energy regulation and market design.
• Lead negotiations and supervise junior lawyers and trainees; contribute to precedents.
• Support business development, pitches and client alerts.
