Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in London or Northampton is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee large energy portfolios, ensure data accuracy, and manage supplier relationships. You will handle portfolio queries, produce reports, and support meter/site changes with a focus on delivering reliable insights and excellent customer service.

The role is based in London or Northampton with flexible hybrid work from home 2–3 days per week and occasional travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through excellent stakeholder management and customer service.
• Strong knowledge of UK energy markets, including transmission and distribution frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised with analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Advanced MS Office skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of strategic customer energy portfolios, ensuring service excellence and overseeing a team of Portfolio Analysts.
• Maintain accurate customer portfolio data by coordinating estate, site, meter, and supplier changes across internal systems.
• Manage and resolve customer queries, data requests, and escalations, ensuring timely responses and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the production and delivery of contractual reports, providing accurate insights and supporting customers with energy spend management.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular calls, meetings, and stakeholder engagement, coordinating internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
