Job summary

Harvey Nash seeks an experienced Senior IT Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of technical change across a large-scale trading environment. This is a 6 month contract role with hybrid working and UK offices.

The role requires extensive experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems, cloud-native Azure solutions, and strong DevOps and data platform expertise, including Databricks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
• Strong background in energy trading or energy markets.
• Hands-on design of cloud-native Azure solutions.
• Proven ability to lead architectural governance and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design across Energy Markets systems.
• Provide architectural governance and leadership to IT delivery teams.
• Shape and drive cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrate strong DevOps practices and tooling awareness.
• Lead governance and delivery of technical change initiatives.
