Job summary

Harvey Nash Group seeks an experienced Senior IT Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of technical change across a large-scale Energy Markets IT environment. This is a 6-month contract role.

Hybrid working is available with offices across the UK; must-have experience includes ETRM systems/trading, cloud-native Azure solutions, and strong DevOps practices to guide IT delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
• Strong background within the energy trading sector.
• Extensive experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMS), including both legacy and cloud-based platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-native Azure solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tooling.
• Experience leading architectural governance and technical change initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of technical change across a large-scale Energy Markets IT environment. This is a 6 month contract role.

• Inside of IR35
• £650 - £750
• Hybrid working - Offices available throughout the UK
• Must have experience of ETRM systems / trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design across Energy Markets systems and platforms.
• Provide architectural governance and technical leadership to IT delivery teams.
• Shape and drive cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
• Strong background within the energy trading sector.
• Extensive experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMS), including both legacy and cloud-based platforms.
• Strong analytics and data platform expertise, including Databricks.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-native Azure solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tooling.
• Experience leading architectural governance and technical change initiatives.
