Job summary

Harvey Nash Plc in Edinburgh is seeking a Lead Data Architect to own the enterprise data strategy and help build a modern, cloud-native data platform to support analytics and decision-making across the globe.

You'll define vision and roadmaps, lead design of cloud-based platforms on Microsoft technologies, govern data engineering and governance, and influence senior stakeholders across multiple programmes, with a flexible hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Architecture within large, complex organisations.
• Strong expertise across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern data platforms.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and SaaS data solutions.
• Background within Financial Services, FinTech or similarly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term vision and roadmap for enterprise data architecture.
• Lead design of a modern cloud-based data platform built on Microsoft technologies.
• Drive data governance, engineering, analytics, visualisation and master data management practices.
• Partner with senior business and tech leaders to align data strategy with objectives.
• Influence key architecture decisions across multiple programmes and product teams.
