AECOM’s Sustainability & Decarbonisation Advisory team is a leader in Decentralised Energy, including District Heating, District Cooling, Renewables, and energy storage. We specialise in district heating delivery and are looking to grow our team.

Currently, we have a requirement for a Senior Engineer with a focus on technical leadership and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK energy market, decarbonization strategies for buildings, estates, towns, and cities, and experience in designing and deploying DH networks at scale.

The team focuses on low-carbon sustainable energy network design, covering opportunity identification, feasibility, business case development, design, commercialization, procurement, construction, and post-construction monitoring. Our projects span the UK&I, Middle East, and Europe, with active support for UK government schemes like HNIP and GHNF, including heat network Zoning.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience in DH Design, Energy Option Studies, Energy Audits, and Decarbonisation strategies
• Track record of project delivery from concept to operation
• MEng/BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• CEng status is advantageous
