Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior / Principal Energy Consultant to join our UK Energy Advisory practice. You will lead advisory projects across energy efficiency, decarbonisation and digital transformation, embedding data-driven approaches and advanced modelling within client solutions.

You will manage client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to business development while working with engineers, analysts and digital specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes across

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel modelling and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data-driven decision making in energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar platforms.
• Coding with Python/SQL for data processing and modelling.
• Familiarity with version control, e.g. GitHub, and testing practices.
• Experience with energy modelling, forecasting, optimisation or simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory across project lifecycles (pre-feasibility to FEED).
• Develop techno-economic models and delivery processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Translate complex requirements into practical delivery solutions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify risks, gaps, and ensure robust technical and commercial outcomes.
• Lead best practices and standard methodologies in digital delivery.
