Job summary

Shell Trading’s Energy Contracts Team in London seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor to support trading desks, draft and negotiate complex power and environmental contracts, and manage risk across the contracting lifecycle.

You will work with traders, originators and support functions, ensuring timely approvals, accurate records and governance compliance while delivering value to the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience drafting, analysing and negotiating energy or commodity trading agreements.
• Experience with power and environmental products documentation such as EFET Power agreements, ISDA, Credit Support Annexes, DRVs, Emissions Master Agreements or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused pre- and post-deal advice on contractual, commercial and financial risks.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts for power and environmental products.
• Ensure contracts reflect agreed terms and comply with Shell policies and governance.
