You'll be joining an established & growing team of 4 energy assessors which are responsible for completing energy assessments across the UK for a variety of buildings (e.g., distribution centres, retail outlets, multi-use developments, residential estates, commercial offices etc).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and deliver complex energy assessments across a wide range of sectors.

  4. Deliver residential carbon modelling and SAP calculations.
  5. Lead or contribute to BREEAM and BREEAM AP proposals and tenders.
  6. Conduct embodied and operational carbon LCA using OneClickLCA.
  7. Prepare sustainability and energy strategy reports for planning and compliance.
  8. Deliver feasibility studies for renewable installations (e.g., solar, LED, fabric).
  9. Act as a key advisor to internal PMs, QSs, and Surveyors on sustainability aspects of construction and retrofit projects.
  10. Shadow the Head of Energy & Carbon in client meetings and learn how to shape and scope deliverables into invoices.
  11. Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
Ideally you'll have
  1. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar consultancy or technical role.
  2. Level 5 EPC Assessor certification (essential).
  3. Proven experience with IES-VE or DesignBuilder.
  4. Working knowledge of OneClickLCA or other LCA tools.
  5. Understanding of BREEAM frameworks and requirements.
  6. Strong client-facing ability and communication skills.
  7. Organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple projects.
  8. A passion for sustainability and a drive to innovate.
Why Join?
  1. Work for a fast-growing business with £30m+ revenue and a strong reputation in sustainable design.
  2. No business development pressure - focus on delivery and leadership.
  3. Accelerators Bonus Scheme - earn 25% of invoiced work above 3x your salary (paid at Christmas).
  4. Work with clients like Siemens, NEXT, CBRE, and Knight Frank.
  5. Cross-disciplinary exposure to solar PV, LED, and building fabric retrofits.
  6. Join a supportive, forward-thinking culture where innovation is encouraged.
