Job summary

Multinational Company in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced IT professional to design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions across enterprise environments. You will lead desktop engineering and VDI initiatives, with strong focus on Windows 11, Active Directory structure, and Group Policy management.

Experience with InstallShield packaging, MECM, patch management (BIOS/firmware updates), SQL Server administration, and end-point protection is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total IT experience.
• 5+ years designing and implementing Intune solutions.
• 5+ years as a system engineer.
• Desktop engineering and support in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience with Windows 11, AD structure, and Group Policy.
• Experience packaging software with InstallShield or equivalent.
• Experience managing a VDI environment (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred).
• Expert level End Point Protection engineering.
• Expertise in MECM and Intune.
• Expert in patch management including BIOS/firmware updates and service packs.
• Basic SQL Server administration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Intune-based device and security configurations.
• Manage desktop engineering and enterprise support workflows.
• Oversee VDI environments including Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Lead patch management including BIOS/firmware updates and service packs.
• Maintain Windows 11 configurations and AD/GP structures.
• Administer MECM and software packaging processes.
• Support SQL Server databases and related operations.
• Ensure robust end-point protection and security compliance.
