Job summary

BCUHB North Wales is seeking an experienced Clinical Endoscopist to join a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be fully trained, independent, and JAG accredited with evidence of JAG portfolio. Opportunities for development exist within the organisation.

You will work within the endoscopy department, contributing to the national JAG training centre and upholding high standards of care in GI services. An emphasis on Welsh language skills is noted and sponsorship may apply.

Qualifications

• Fully trained, independent and JAG accredited Clinical Endoscopist.
• Evidence of a JAG portfolio and certificate.
• Masters level education in advanced practice and/or endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic upper GI endoscopy (OGD) and colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Manage own caseload including nurse-led clinics for GI symptoms.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical judgement and plan patient management.
• Adhere to standards set by BSG, JAG and GRS in endoscopy services.
