Job summary

One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Senior Endoscopy Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will contribute to high standards of patient care within a private healthcare setting, leading nursing colleagues and delivering evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised post-registration Endoscopy course, at least 3 years post-registration experience and 18 months in the specialty, with flexibility to work a 7-day rota and weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a post-registration Endoscopy course.
• Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
• 18 months experience within the Endoscopy specialty.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Sr Registered Nurse within the Endoscopy Service.
• Undertake and oversee assessment, development, implementation, evaluation and delivery of nursing care per policies.
• Clinically lead a nursing team, maintaining high standards of patient care at all times.
• Regularly take overall charge of the Endoscopy Service in the absence of the Endoscopy Lead Nurse.
• Drive forward evidence-based practice and ensure efficient, effective patient care.
• Be responsible for staff management, development, assessment of competence, and HR guidelines compliance.
