Job summary

Progress Housing Group is seeking an Empty Homes Manager to provide senior operational leadership for the end-to-end empty homes service in Leyland. You will lead teams delivering void works, manage contractor performance, and ensure work is completed to standards, timescales, budgets and compliance.

The role requires a degree in Building/ Housing or equivalent, extensive experience in social housing voids, and strong skills in budgeting, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in building studies, housing or property management.
• Significant senior leadership experience in social housing empty homes/voids.
• Experience in budget, contract management, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of housing health and safety compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational leadership for end-to-end empty homes service.
• Oversee void works, manage contractor/supplier performance.
• Ensure work meets standards, timescales, budgets and compliance.
• Use data to reduce rent loss and improve re-let times.
• Support efficient property turnaround with internal teams.
