Job summary

Shropshire Bus Enhanced Partnership is seeking a Senior Supported Employment Specialist to lead a team of Supported Employment Specialists, supervising, training, and managing caseloads to deliver Individual Placement and Support with fidelity.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with stakeholders, modelling best practice, and ensuring high-quality service that meets fidelity standards and achieves positive outcomes for service users.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in employment services or equivalent experience working with individuals with significant barriers to employment.
• Strong leadership skills to develop and support the Supported Employment Specialists.
• Ability to build close, trusting and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Connect to Work Senior Supported Employment Specialist will manage a team of Supported Employment Specialists providing supervision, training, caseload management, and role modelling of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS). This role will provide a pivotal part in managing a high-quality service that meets fidelity standards and delivers positive outcomes for service users.

You will have at least two years’ experience of working in employment services or equivalent experience working with individuals with significant barriers to employment. You will be someone who is able to build close, trusting and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders combined with strong leadership skills to develop and support the Supported Employment Specialists.
