Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd. seeks an Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) for its Birmingham office. The role offers a balanced mix of contentious and non-contentious work, with genuinely flexible hybrid working and supportive partners.

You will manage your own caseload, advising on contracts, policies and day-to-day matters, and handling TUPE, redundancy and tribunal claims, with potential involvement in sports sector employment work.

Qualifications

• 3+ PQE in employment law gained at a reputable UK practice.
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious matters with the confidence to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• A roughly even split of contentious and non-contentious employment work.
• Advising employers on contracts, policies and day-to-day employment matters.
• Employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE and redundancy.
• Senior executive matters, including exits and disputes.
• Grievance and disciplinary matters.
• Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, including Employment Tribunal litigation.
• Opportunity to be involved in sports sector employment work.
