Qualifications

• Established Employment Partner or Senior Employment Lawyer with a strong following.
• Proven track record of generating work and developing client relationships.
• Broad experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Commercially minded with ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Strong reputation in the Birmingham and Midlands market.
• Ambition and drive to contribute to the development of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers and senior executives on a broad range of employment law matters.
• Handle complex contentious and non-contentious matters, including tribunal claims, dismissals, discrimination, restructuring and employment contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice.
• Take a lead role in business development and identifying opportunities to grow the practice.
• Support and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas to maximise cross-referral opportunities.
