Job summary

Reed is recruiting a Senior Associate to join its Employment team in Birmingham. You will advise employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including disciplinary procedures, unfair dismissal, TUPE transfers, and restructuring.

The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in employment law, with a commercial, pragmatic approach and an interest in business development to support growth of the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience advising employer clients on a broad spectrum of employment matters.
• Strong technical skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
• Interest in business development and networking.
• Ambitious and keen to influence the teamive-year growth and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures, unfair dismissal, discrimination claims.
• Assist with TUPE transfers, whistleblowing, redundancies, and restructures.
• Provide strategic employment law advice to senior management and boards.
• Support day-to-day HR and people management issues.
