Pathway Legal is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor at Senior Associate or Managing Associate level to join its growing practice in Belfast. You will advise employers on a broad range of employment matters, manage complex cases, and take significant responsibility for client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with strong experience in employment law.
• Appropriate experience for appointment at Senior Associate or Managing Associate level.
• Strong technical knowledge across contentious and advisory employment matters.
• Experience managing matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
• Manage complex employment matters and provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice.
• Advise on disciplinary and grievance matters, dismissals, discrimination, restructuring and redundancy.
• Handle and oversee employment tribunal matters and other employment-related disputes.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and related documentation.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and provide ongoing strategic employment advice.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm.
• Support and supervise more junior members of the team.
• Contribute to client development and the continued growth of the employment practice.
