Job summary

Lex Exec is recruiting an Employment Senior Associate (6–9 PQE) for a London boutique law firm. The role combines senior leadership with client-facing responsibilities in a specialist employment practice.

The successful candidate will handle contentious and non-contentious matters for high‑net‑worth clients, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice within a smaller, collegial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Experience advising employers and senior employees/executives.
• Excellent technical ability and academics.
• Experience supervising sophisticated, high‑value matters.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex employment matters as a senior member of the practice.
• Supervise and mentor associates and trainees.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Provide strategic HR and transactional employment guidance.
• Work closely with Partners and senior lawyers on high‑stakes matters.
