Job summary

Construction Professionals Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Manager/Employer's Agent for Cambridge-based projects in the UK housing and development sector. You will lead projects from inception through to completion, liaising with clients and a London-based team to ensure timely delivery and compliance with pre/post-contract requirements.

The role requires on-site oversight, strong JCT and pre-contract experience, and willingness to travel across the Home Counties and East of England.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the UK construction industry.
• Must have a car and valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Liaise with Clients, Contractors, Developers and Local Authorities.
• Understand requirements of Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
• Knowledge of pre-construction service agreements, notably the JCT.
• Understand on-site processes to support delivery.
• Report monthly on fee projections vs. project programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects from inception to completion.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients within a London-based team.
• Coordinate pre-contract and post-contract activities.
• Oversee project programmes, risk registers and action trackers.
• Issue payments, prepare cost reports and final statements.
