Job summary

NHS Jobs in England is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations professional who can demonstrate a track record in senior ER advisory, managing complex casework, and delivering expert guidance to managers on employment law and NHS policy.

Reporting to the Employee Relations Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Employee Relations Team, lead service improvement initiatives and help develop policies and procedures to ensure a high-quality, compliant service across the NHS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior employee relations or HR advisory role.
• Proven track record in managing complex ER casework.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, NHS policy and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support management of complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, capability and performance matters.
• Provide expert advice to managers on employment legislation, NHS policy and best practice.
• Develop management capability through training, coaching and early intervention approaches.
• Lead service improvement initiatives and support the development of employee relations policies, procedures and guidance.
