AVEVA is seeking a Distinguished Technology Strategist to join its Emerging Technology function in Cambridge, UK, reporting to the VP & Fellow for Emerging Tech Trends & Priorities. This senior IC shapes AVEVA’s future by evaluating and prioritizing technologies that can transform product strategy and customer value.

You’ll partner across Research, Product, Architecture, and Strategy to translate insights into clear recommendations guiding long-term investments and innovation direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology strategy, emerging tech research, or a similar senior leadership role.
• Strong ability to translate complex tech topics into actionable guidance for executives.
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders across product, architecture, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess emerging technologies and market signals influencing AVEVA’s long-term product and platform strategy.
• Translate technical exploration into business-relevant insights, recommendations, and investment priorities.
• Partner with Fellows, product leaders, and R&D to align tech trends with AVEVA’s innovation roadmap.
• Develop technology POVs, frameworks, and playbooks to help teams leverage new technologies.
• Communicate findings across the organization to enable informed decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
