Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks experienced Emergency Practitioners to assess, diagnose and treat adults and children presenting with minor injuries and minor illness at the new co-located Urgent Treatment Centre with the Emergency Department at St George's Hospital and the Enhanced Primary Care Hub at Queen Mary's Hospital.

Shifts include unsocial hours, weekends and twilight, with cross-site work across UTC, streaming and EPCH as required, and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Experienced Emergency Practitioner from nursing, paramedic or physiotherapy background.
• Experience managing minor injuries and minor illnesses in urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat adults and children with minor injuries and minor illnesses.
• Work autonomously within the Urgent Treatment Centre and across UTC, streaming and EPCH as required.
• Develop advanced procedural skills with clinical support and supervision.
• Potential to work across sites at Roehampton EPCH or other linked units.
