Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, FPGA-based systems and embedded software.
• Strong embedded C/C++ development experience.
• Experience defining and implementing engineering processes.
• Ability to develop specifications, architectures, verification strategies and test procedures.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, governance and oversight across embedded development activities.
• Establish and improve engineering processes, workflows and best practices.
• Lead development of reusable software modules and libraries.
• Plan and deliver embedded software and firmware work packages.
• Translate system and customer requirements into software/firmware specs.
• Develop system and software architectures and oversee detailed design.
• Define verification strategies, validation plans and test procedures.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design and verification.
