Job summary

ALTEN, a global engineering and technology consultancy, invites a Senior Integration & Verification Lead to ensure the reliability of complex embedded defence systems. Location Reading, on-site five days a week, with SC clearance eligibility.

You will design and execute system-level test plans, using Red Linux, BASH scripting, and virtualization to validate hardware-software integration while collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in integration testing within complex embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of Red Linux, BASH scripting, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing, complemented by manual testing expertise.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerized applications.
• Proven ability to write comprehensive test plans and execute system-level validation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-level integration testing for hardware and software components in embedded defence systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans for automation and manual testing scenarios.
• Utilize BASH scripting and Red Linux to streamline testing processes and environments.
• Leverage virtualization and Docker for efficient deployment and testing of containerized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during testing to ensure systems meet performance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and optimize embedded systems for defence applications.
