Job summary

ALTEN LTD - UK is seeking an Integration & Verification Lead in Reading to drive system-level testing for complex embedded defence systems. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans for automation and manual testing, using Red Hat Linux, BASH scripting, and virtualization to validate hardware and software components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in integration testing within complex embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux, BASH scripting, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing, complemented by manual testing expertise.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerized applications.
• Proven ability to write comprehensive test plans and execute system-level validation.
• Experience in testing within defence or related high-integrity systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-level integration testing for hardware and software components in embedded defence systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans for both automation and manual testing scenarios.
• Utilize BASH scripting and Red Hat Linux to streamline testing processes and environments.
• Leverage virtualization and Docker for efficient deployment and testing of containerized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during testing to ensure systems meet rigorous performance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and optimize embedded systems for defence applications.
