Job summary
ZeroAvia is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to drive the development of embedded control systems for our hydrogen-electric propulsion tech. You will own the full software lifecycle from requirements and architecture through implementation, verification, integration and certification in a high-integrity aerospace environment.
The role emphasizes deep embedded C, MISRA C, bare-metal programming on microcontrollers, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software development lifecycle, with at least 5 years in aerospace (DO-178B/C) or other safety-critical domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for ZeroAvia's controller platform.
- Produce requirements, design, implementation, and tests for software components.
- Ensure software lifecycle data produced are in accordance with development processes and procedures.
- Perform hardware/software integration for debugging, verification, and release of software.
- Contribute improvements to internal procedure and standards.
