Job summary

Accelero in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a skilled team developing embedded products for secure access and security systems. You will work on low-level development, cryptographic functionality, and debugging embedded systems with real-world impact.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and internationally, contributing to new product development and enhancements while maintaining high-quality design and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong embedded C and/or C++ programming skills.
• Experience debugging embedded systems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.
• Understanding of cryptographic technologies and secure communications.
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team.
