Job summary

Entrust in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help design and implement Linux-based system tools for our hardware security modules. The role combines Python scripting with C development in an embedded context, focusing on security, containers, and scalable tooling.

You will contribute across design, implementation, testing and code review, working on multi-component projects that interact with HSMs, kernel interfaces, and platform services in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a software-related field.
• Strong Python scripting in embedded context; C programming helpful.
• Familiar with Linux security rules, network stacks, and kernel.
• Experience with multi-component projects and multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the full system with embedded HSMs, client-side tools and API libraries.
• Develop features from inception to delivery.
• Software design, coding, testing and review.
