Fractile in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to write and optimise performance‑critical ML kernels close to the metal. You will drive silicon‑level runtimes, profiling and benchmarking to drive architecture feedback and hardware/software roadmap decisions.

The role emphasizes low‑level programming, RISC‑V assembly, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver real throughput and low latency on frontier AI hardware.

Competenze

• Proven deeply embedded software experience.
• Strong low‑level programming and optimisation skills.
• Experience with RISC‑V and assembly language is a plus.

Mansioni

• Write and optimise performance‑critical ML kernels and runtime components.
• Develop low‑level control paths, including scheduling and data movement.
• Create validation workloads and microbenchmarks to validate hardware behavior.
• Profile, benchmark, and track regressions to ensure real improvements.
