Job summary

YT Technologies, a leading defence technology innovator, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their R&D team. You will design, develop, and support embedded software aligned with the technical roadmap.

Work with RF environments and DSP applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use diagnostic tools to support production and future product lines. Eligibility for UK Security Vetting is required.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in embedded software development.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS concepts.
• Practical knowledge of RF environments, DSP and hardware debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Eligible for UK Security Vetting (BPSS minimum) and UK residency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support embedded software aligned with the technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take concepts into production.
• Work closely with RF environment and DSP applications.
• Use diagnostic tools such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Contribute to process improvements and evaluate new technologies for future product lines.
