YT Tech is recruiting for a skilled FPGA / Firmware Engineer to join their premier defence and aerospace technology company’s R&D division, helping design, verify, and integrate advanced embedded solutions for high‑performance applications globally.

You will design, verify, and debug embedded system components, contribute to RF signal processing with modern FPGA technologies, and collaborate with RF, DSP, and hardware teams to integrate firmware.

Qualifications

• Proven background in FPGA and/or embedded firmware development across the full lifecycle.
• Experience integrating, understanding, and debugging third-party RTL.
• Strong skills debugging full embedded architectures (hardware, processor software, and FPGA firmware).
• Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving ability in cross-functional engineering teams.
• Must be eligible for UK Security Vetting (BPSS minimum required; UK residency rules apply).
