Job summary
AWD online in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electronic / Embedded Design Engineer to lead hands-on hardware and embedded software development for industrial products from concept to production. You’ll own UL submissions and collaborate across electronics, software and production teams.
The role requires strong C skills, analogue and digital design, PCB layout, and experience with microcontrollers and power electronics.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Significant relevant industry experience.
- Experience bringing electronic products into production with UL considerations.
- Strong hardware design across analogue and digital circuits, schematic capture and PCB design.
- Hands-on embedded development using C on microcontrollers.
Responsibilities
- Develop product requirements, hardware and embedded software specifications.
- Be the main technical contact for UL submissions and approvals.
- Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits for industrial products.
- Produce schematics and PCB layouts; select components.
- Develop, debug, test and maintain C software for MCUs.
