Job summary

Prolectric Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team and take full ownership of the rail product line (signals and indicators).

Working mainly on the factory floor within R&D, you will drive ongoing product design, perform high voltage safety testing up to 4kV, and collaborate with assembly teams to resolve issues at the source.

You'll apply RCA, soldering, and diagnostic testing to improve reliability and support manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on electronics testing or engineering in production or product development.
• Experience with diagnostic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, HV insulation testers, power supplies, loop/impedance testers).
• Experience conducting safety testing up to 4kV.
• Strong soldering and board rework skills.

Responsibilities

• Own rail signal and indicator product lines, driving design updates and lifecycle management.
• Perform electrical, safety, and functional testing before sign-off and dispatch.
• Conduct HV, earth impedance, isolation resistance, and high voltage testing up to 4kV.
• Maintain daily factory floor presence to support production and resolve issues.
• Feed test records into R&D design updates to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with assembly teams on fault resolution.
