Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer for Plymouth or Bristol (Hybrid). You will design analogue and mixed-signal electronics, integrate with high-speed digital devices, and support full product lifecycle development of high-performance IMUs and MEMS sensors.

The role requires a strong background in analogue electronics, precision circuitry, and E-CAD tools, with collaboration across Systems, Software, and Mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong theoretical understanding of analogue electronics.
• Experience integrating analogue circuitry with high-speed digital devices (FPGAs, DSPs, microprocessors).
• Experience designing precision circuitry (op-amps, DACs, ADCs, voltage references).
• Understanding of control theory and open/closed-loop systems.
• Experience using E-CAD for schematic capture, PCB layout and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics across full product lifecycle.
• Support hardware integration testing, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Use E-CAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit/PCB simulation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
