Collins Aerospace was selected as a UK supplier with a demonstrated capability to develop and manufacture navigation-grade Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) for use in future complex weapons systems as part of the UK's Weapons Sector Research Framework (WSRF). Our IMUs combine proprietary MEMS sensors, ASICs, FPGAs, embedded software and unique architectures, housed within bespoke mechanical fixtures designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions.
