Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Principal Electronics Engineer to lead a team of around 15 engineers and shape future product development. The role combines hands-on design with strategic leadership, customer engagement and bid support.

You will oversee circuit design, PCB technology, EMC and power management, mentor engineers, and ensure robust, production-aware solutions for demanding, technology-led projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ relevant engineering experience in electronics or related fields.
• Experience leading engineering projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB tech and system integration.
• Experience in EMC, power management or servo/motion control.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and electronic design activity for major development and R&D projects.
• Act as technical authority across assigned technology areas.
• Develop circuit, PCB and system-level solutions for power and interfaces.
• Review architectures including power flow and production considerations.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-disciplinary teams.
