Job summary

Holt Engineering in Horsham seeks a talented Electronics Engineer to join a busy electronics team. You will design, develop and deliver electronic and electrical solutions supporting a growing, technology-led business, while contributing to R&D, process improvement and team development.

The role involves working on multi-disciplinary projects, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality designs, reports and production-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong degree (or HND) in a related discipline.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Solid theoretical and practical understanding of electrical/electronic design.
• Ability to define power budgets and present findings in technical reports.
• Experience producing electrical/electronic designs with production collaboration.
• Willingness to develop projects through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits, components and PCBs across EMC, power management, servo control and processor interfacing.
• Design electrical power and signal systems including architecture, power flow and wiring for production.
• Set and promote standards of engineering practice as SME.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes with focus on innovation.
• Communicate with senior engineers, leads, managers and customers.
• Develop technology within the business through R&D activities and projects.
