You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and production teams, and contribute to design reviews, qualification, and transfer into manufacture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline is essential.
• Extensive experience designing electronic hardware for high-performance products.
• Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, power, and mixed-signal design.
• Proven track record from concept to prototype, verification and production release.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electronic hardware for new and existing products.
• Own electronic design activities from concept through to production release.
• Design analogue, digital, power, video, embedded, and mixed-signal electronics for rugged products.
• Produce schematics, calculations, PCB layout guidance, BOMs and docs.
• Review and approve designs ensuring technical, manufacturability and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with firmware/software to integrate electronics with interfaces (FPGA, microcontroller, sensors).
• Lead prototype bring-up, board-level debugging, system integration, verification, fault finding.
• Support EMC, environmental, reliability, and compliance testing as required.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for new products and improvements.
• Assist design reviews, risk assessments, requirements capture, and planning.
