Platform Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a highly technical team in Gloucester. This hands-on role covers complex PCB design and FPGA development, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

You will work across FPGA (VHDL), embedded C/C++, Linux driver development, and hardware bring-up, communicating confidently and working independently. The package includes approximately £80,000, 25 days holiday, a 10% pension, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PCB design and/or FPGA (VHDL)
• Embedded C/C++ experience
• Strong academic background (degree in a numerate field)
• Confident communicator, able to work independently
