Qualifications

Senior FPGA Engineer Role

• Looking for an ambitious, proactive self-starter who identifies problems and takes ownership
• Xilinx RFSoC and/or Software Defined Radio experience required
• 5+ yrs experience
• Strong focus on VHDL development on AMD Xilinx platforms (Vivado)
• DSP expertise required
• Experience coding for on chip ARM cores
• Experience using external DDR
• Appreciation of wider system architecture, peripheral hardware and software
• Experience with multi-clock systems and GPS synchronisation

Team & Structure

• Current team consists of two FPGA engineers
• One long-term contractor is nearing retirement - succession-planning and upgrade to capable team leader
• Role is onsite, five days per week
• Salary negotiable
