Job summary

Cirrus Selection is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. You will own mixed electrical and electronic designs from concept through to completion, using a structured phase-gate process and driving the design reviews and documentation.

Responsibilities include analogue, digital, microprocessor and FPGA design, power electronics, and EMC considerations at product and PCB levels. Proficiency with Altium and Windchill, plus JTAG debugging, is expected.

Qualifications

• Formal electronics qualification (HNC/HND or BEng).
• Hardware design for harsh environments and reliability.
• Experience with phase-gate process and design reviews.
• Ability to define requirements and drive ECAD/PLM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take mixed electrical and electronic designs from concept to completion.
• Own the design process and establish procedures and tests.
• Demonstrate schematic capture and PCB layout with traceability.
