APRIL QUEST LIMITED in Northam is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a small specialist team. You will focus on value engineering, understanding customer requirements, and working with procurement to re-engineer products to reduce costs while meeting specs.

The role requires strong electronics design experience across digital and analogue domains, and a track record in cost-effective design for regulated markets.

Working in a small specialist team of Electronic Hardware Engineers your focus will be on value engineering, understanding the customer requirements and working closely with procurement to re-engineer / reverse engineer products to be more cost effective but still meet customer requirements.

Essential Requirements of the Senior Electronics Engineer

• Value engineering experience - previous experience making existing products more cost effective.
• DFM experience.
• Understands the commercial objectives needed for the senior role focused on value engineering.
• Good electronics design experience
• Digital & analogue design experience

Nice to have

• Previous Aerospace or highly regulated industry electronics design experience
